Dani Rockey
President and Founder
Since beginning my work in senior living in 2010, I’ve seen how overwhelming major life transitions can be — not only for older adults, but also for the adult children, spouses, and veterans who suddenly find themselves navigating unfamiliar decisions. I founded Seacoast Senior Advisors to bridge the gap between what families are told and what they actually need: clear guidance, practical support, and a trusted partner who can walk with them through every step of the process.
Today, I support aging adults, their adult children, and veterans as they face decisions around care, housing, downsizing, relocation, and choosing the right senior living community. Each group has unique needs, and my role is to simplify the process while helping families feel confident in both their decisions and their next steps.
A significant part of this support includes helping families navigate MaineCare and Medicare paperwork, and Aid and Attendance ensuring applications are completed accurately and on time. These programs can be confusing and emotionally draining for families already under stress, and I provide the structure, clarity, and advocacy needed to move through them with confidence.
As a licensed Maine Residential Healthcare Administrator, I bring deep insight into care environments and regulatory requirements. I am also a Certified Dementia Practitioner, offering specialized support for families facing memory‑care challenges.
For many families, I also help them understand how to maximize the value of their home, so they can use the revenue generated from a sale to support their transition into a senior living community, cover care needs, or create financial stability for the next chapter. My real estate expertise ensures families are positioned to make informed, strategic choices that directly support their long‑term goals. My real estate credentials — SRES, SRS, and ABR — strengthen my ability to guide families through the housing side of the transition with clarity and strategy.
I also collaborate with a trusted network of elder law attorneys, accountants, moving companies, and social workers to ensure families receive the most complete and well‑rounded support possible. While I guide clients through every aspect of the senior living and transition process, certain situations benefit from the added insight of specialized professionals — particularly around wills, trusts, estate planning, tax considerations, and complex financial questions. By partnering with experts in these fields, I’m able to offer families a seamless, coordinated experience where every detail is addressed by the right member of the team. This collaborative model ensures families feel supported, informed, and confident at every step.
At Seacoast Senior Advisors, my mission is to provide personalized, start‑to‑finish support — whether you’re an adult child trying to make the right decisions for your parent, an older adult planning ahead, or a veteran navigating a complex system of benefits and care options. No one should have to go through this alone, and I’m here to ensure your path forward is clear, manageable, and grounded in trust.
